Windows 7 Netbooks
While not UK-specific, this is definitely interesting for netbook fans. The Windows 7 launch date of October 22nd has had virtually every laptop manufacturer rushing to get their W7 netbooks ready.
Did they make it?
Well… Amazon currently has A FEW DOZEN on pre-order over on their US site. There are highlights from all the big names including Acer, Asus, Lenovo, Sony and… err… Velocity Micro.
The only notable omission is Samsung, who have so far adopted a ‘wait a couple of months and then launch something much better than the competitors’ strategy with netbooks. Here’s hoping they’re continuing that with Windows 7.
