So the whole world is going insane for the IPad tablet… and so are we ! Read on for our first impressions, the first hardware specifications and photos from the Apple presentation.
IPad First impressions
First impressions is this isn’t a netbook killer, that it’s missing three major things that make netbooks great:
1) A real keyboard – how do you type and hold this thing?
2) Productivity software (office, excel etc) – Can you imagine trying to create a spreadsheet on this thing?
3) Security – Imagine dropping this thing, it doesn’t look like it will survive. I’m sure dropping this thing will be very common for anyone using it on the move.
IPad Specifications
Specifications for the IPad are confirmed to be:

- 1 GHz Apple processor
- 16-64 GB of flash memory
- 0.5in- (1.25cm) thick
- Weighs 1.5lbs (0.7kgs)
- Wi-fi, bluetooth and 3G connectivity
