Before the 1201n drops, there will be first the Asus 1201HA, which we’re informed will launch in Europe around mid-November for around €399 / £350.

WOW ! Just caught wind of the specs for the ready-to-release 12″ Eee 1201n netbook from maker Asus, and i’ve almost soiled my pants!
First off it’s got a dedicated ION graphics card, which means this is likely to the first netbook on the market with an ION graphics card… but this isn’t just any old graphics card, it is a GeForce 9400m – the very same one that is used Apple Macbooks.
The second point is the battery life – 11 hours. Sure 11 hours is also being tooted as the normal for next generation netbooks but the Asus Ee 1201n has a better spec than most high-end laptops. Before youread on, please make sure you steady yourself, you have not yet seen a netbook this powerful!
